Vergnano Gran Aroma – 1kg, coffee beans
Vergnano Gran Aroma is a blend of coffee beans composed of 60% Arabica (from Central America) and 40% African Robusta. This combination gives the coffee a balanced taste with an intense aroma and a long-lasting aftertaste. Arabica provides softer and sweeter notes, while Robusta adds more strength and body. The taste is enriched with light chocolate and spicy undertones, making this coffee ideal for lovers of creamy and strong drinks.
Vergnano Gran Aroma is suitable for both espresso and cappuccino or latte macchiato, and is especially recommended as a morning coffee for its invigorating effects.
Description
Did you know that Vergnano is one of the few coffee roasters in Kenya that operates its own coffee plantations? Vergnano is one of the oldest Italian family roasters, founded in 1882. Domenico Vergnano started out as a grocer in Chieri, near Turin, and thanks to his passion for coffee, his company has become one of the most famous Italian roasters.
Brand history
The Vergnano roastery is a company with a long and interesting history. The great-grandfather of today’s generation, Dominico Vergnano, founded the roastery in 1882 in the Alpine town of Chieri, near Turin.
Shortly after founding the roastery, Mr. Vergnano bought a coffee plantation in Kenya. Thanks to a steady supply of coffee at a good price, a few years later he built the first three coffee wholesalers in Turin, Chieri and Alba. By 1956, Vergnano coffee had become the clear best-selling coffee in its region.
